Stayed here for a week at the end of May and the weather was perfect. Campground is smaller (32 sites total) and located on a mountainside back in the woods. Its not too difficult to navigate though...

Tip for Other Campers:
Roan mountain is a must see. Go down and hit the Blue Ridge parkway to Mount Mitchell. So many hikes in the area. There is a very nice laundry mat is Unicoi. Walmart in Unicoi as well.

“Shaded and quiet”
Nightly Rate: $44 USD
Staff was super helpful. The tall shade trees were a blessing. Over all a totally relaxing setting and good time. We camped at WoodSmoke Campground in a Motorhome.
