Tip for Other Campers:
If you visit Tims Ford State Park, there is a couple of local places that we highly recommend. For dinner, please travel just 5-10 minutes to Piezan Pizzeria Italiano (44 S Jefferson St, Winchester, TN 37398). The atmosphere is amazing and their pizza is even better! For a local coffee shop, please visit Walnut Hill Coffee Company (100 1st Ave NW,...

- rvlife_642a021584a3c Paid on site. We visited the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and National Parks site. Well worth our time. Took the free tour of his birthplace two room home, school house, and his father's blacksmith shop.10 months ago Little Bear Campground
- SuperBus We later learned there is a good burger place at the nearby truck stop. We didn't try it personally, but the recommendation source is very reliable!1 year ago Little Bear Campground

“Nice place, best spots are W/E only”
Nightly Rate: $39 USD
Nice park, wa about 25% full when we arrived, probably 60% full when leaving. If over 50% capacity, park will be pretty busy. Nice large grassy areas around sites. Everything seems well maintained....

Tip for Other Campers:
Not much going on in Winchester or Decherd. For groceries, go to Food City, the other grocery stores and Walmart are... Needing love. The city has just about everything you'll need, but that's it. Nothing more.
