Tip for Other Campers:
Aledo Acres is just outside of Fort Worth to the West of the city and has a multitude of things to see and do. The area is rich in activities, state parks with hiking, plenty of local food venues and of course Dallas is also right around the corner. To the west is Weatherford also rich in culture.

Tip for Other Campers:
For motorhomes. If going out north on the FM1187 check the railroad tracks for clearance. We headed south to Austin so not an issue. Coming in from I20 on 1187 is fine. Aledo can get busy at school open/close times

Not much to do actually in Aledo but Weatherford, Granbury, and Ft. Worth will not disappoint you
