Nightly Rate: $49 USD
Park is just west of Amarillo. Very clean. Despite what others have said, Office staff was super friendly. No problems with Pedestals. Didn't use other facilities. Nice grassy park in the center and...

Tip for Other Campers:
Didn't leave the campground, so no help from that perspective. Looked like Amarillo has plenty of restaurants and big box stores.
Tips from campers about Route 66 RV Ranch
- RudyBaga There is a Camping World just northeast of the campground across I-40. They replaced a failed electric jack for me. Amarillo is a city with all services and retail a camper might want.3 years ago Route 66 RV Ranch
- Chrisfit3 The exit driveway is in rough shape so be careful when exiting, the roads are under construction as well. Was a tight squeeze to get rig out.3 years ago Route 66 RV Ranch

“Chronic Electrical Problems”

I frequently travel I-40, and this has been my preferred campground in Amarillo. Unfortunately, it no longer is. On my outbound trip I was placed in pull-through site #11. It had no power, so the...

“Under construction - LOUD!”
Nightly Rate: $44 USD
This place is RIGHT off the interstate & is LOUD - day & night. Then there is the construction in the park. LOTS of construction. I think they were spreading rock with cow urine in it - it was awful!...

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Cadillac Ranch just down the street. Then drive east on I-40 to Slug Buggy Ranch on the left - mid-way through Amarillo. We wanted to go to the Vintage Camper Museum south of town but it is only open Thursday - Saturday.
