- JackienRuth Barton Springs Municipal Pool is very cool to visit even if not going for a swim. I believe it is spring fed. It is huge! Walk/run/bike along Barton Creek Greenbelt trails (with your dogs). Take your dogs everywhere... Austin is super dog friendly. Check out the shops and restaurants on South Congress Ave. Between late March through early fall, watch the bats fly out from under Congress Ave bridge every sunset. Head towards the grassy hill vantage point of the Statesman Bat Observation Center, adjacent to the bat bridge to watch.3 months ago Pecan Grove RV Park
