“Beautiful restful place.”

We loved our stay at Bastrop State Park and will definitely stay there again. We camped at Bastrop State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Pawpaw's Catfish is a great little restaurant in downtown Bastrop. Don't forget to try the deep-fried deviled eggs. Yummy!

Sparkling clean bathrooms!!! Level, concert pads. Nice spacing between sites. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Bastrop State Park in a Motorhome.

- Noah4448 COMMUNICATIONS: WiFi is spotty. ATT via rogers 5 bars for hot spot. EXERCISERS: You can get a 1-mile walk or run inside the park. There is an exercise run.2 years ago Heidi's Campground

- Mtmoi Nearby Orilla has a decades-old hot dog stand next to an active public park and boat launch. The town of Barrie has Heritage Park, a waterfront site with interesting sculptures. Many restaurants with water views are a block away. We enjoyed the food at Il Buco, particularly the beef carpaccio. “Nice trails ”
Nightly Rate: $22 USD
A portion of the park was a retired golf course. Most of the trails are paved. We camped at Bastrop State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
