“WiFi is awful ”
Nightly Rate: $25 USD
The park was great except they advertised a fast wifi 100 mbps. Instead it was around 3 or 4. They need to remove that from their website. We camped at Bayou Bend RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

No trees. Lots of Oil workers. But this is Texas. Well kept park. Friendly people. Staff was great. Park was close to everything. Great Naval Museums close by. All sites were full hookup sites. Nice...

Tips from campers about Bayou Bend RV Resort
- SloCurve Lots of hiking in the area, and there is a trail just off the campground. Really nice loop trail at Quincy Bog near Rumsey. Sculptured Rocks Natural Area near Groton has a very impressive and picturesque cascade just a short walk from a parking area across the road, and snowmobile trails cross the area. The Audubon Center also has a nice short loop. Newfound Lake is expansive, and we saw lots of kayaking prospects but weather was not favorable.2 years ago CAMP at Newfound Lake
- Gaelic&Garlic 10 Min to Wellington State Park and Beach on Newfound lake. Day trips from this location to Boston MA, Portsmouth NH, Burlington VT, Portland ME, Seacoast & Lake Beaches, White Mts NP., and Green Mts NP. Just under 4 hours to Montreal Canada. 3 Hrs to Cap Cod and 4.5 Hours to Acadia National Park. Ocean and Lake fishing with lots of public launch sites. If your looking for a 100+ RV sites to pick from or a water park onsite & Golf carts traffic jams then this is not the place for you. Stargazing, shooting stars, and the Milky way "YES" UFO's ... The previous reviews seem quite tough on this beautiful little gem. Level concrete sites with a concrete parking spot next to it, well manicured lawns, plenty of areas to walk the dogs and the laundry...

Note. Use exit 797, stay in left lane, stay on service roads and do a turn around twice to get to the entrance.

“Close to I-10”

This park is right off I-10 and convenient for an overnight stay. This is a nice RV park with good utilities and level sites. A majority of the sites are occupied by fulltime area workers in the park....
