“Nice quiet park with beautiful river views”
Nightly Rate: $25 USD
Roomy spot and easy walk down to river. No hookups but water available. Lots of hiking trails and wildlife. We camped at Colorado Bend State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Bring what you need, the nearest towns are San Saba and Lampasas, both probably about a 45 minute drive. There's a Tractor Supply and Walmart in Lampasas, as well as diesel fuel at a couple of gas stations.

Tip for Other Campers:
If you're a backpacker, you can do a big loop as all of the main trails connect. If you're a day hiker, make sure you hike into Gorman Falls, Gorman Spring and Tinaja.
