Tips for the area. Didn't spend enough time to get out and explore. There is a very nice travel center for fueling next door. When we were there, road construction was being done on the median being worked on. If you are coming in from the south, you will have to go by the entrance and turn around at the next intersection about a half mile down the road.
Tips from campers about Bryan-North College Station KOA Holiday
- Burmel If you are coming from the south the left turn across 2 lanes of 70 mph traffic is perilous. It is made worse as the traffic is hidden by a hill about half a mile or so back. Going out going south is OK but if you need to go north it is best to go back about a mile and turn around at the overpass at the Old San Antonio (OSR) Road. “Good spot, but wide open to highway noise”

Nice concrete pads, but we got 2 that were NOT flat. Look closely and ask for another better one if needed. Otherwise, great place. We camped at Bryan-North College Station KOA Holiday in a Motorhome.
