Tips from campers about Bullard, TX
- MJDavis If arriving from Colorado make sure to wait and exit at Exit #2. Our GPS had us take one exit earlier and we ended up on a six mile long slow rough dirt road with bad washboard. It is not the campgrounds fault, but they know it happens. They should let everyone who makes a reservation know which exit to take.2 years ago Terry Bison Ranch Resort
- Sailgr Head to old town Cheyenne. It is only a 10 minute drive. Nice town and fun to walk around. We ate at Sanfords. A bar and grill with a fun atmosphere. Know that you get a lot of food for the price. Visit the state capital in old town. Open to the public and beautiful. We used a doggie day care called K9 Kennel. It is on your way to Old Cheyenne. When you drive up you will think, this it? But when you go in it is clean, climate controlled kennels. They charged us $5 but we gave them a $20 for all day. Our puppy was happy to see us but ran back to the owners for one last pet and goodbye. So we know she had fun and was well taken care of.3 years ago Terry Bison Ranch Resort
- Steve & Debby There are some really nice free things in Cheyenne, the botanical gardens is a great. The capital building is interesting, another free museum, the train station and the trolley tour, not free but well worth the price.4 years ago Terry Bison Ranch Resort
