- SloCurve Lots of hiking in the area, and there is a trail just off the campground. Really nice loop trail at Quincy Bog near Rumsey. Sculptured Rocks Natural Area near Groton has a very impressive and picturesque cascade just a short walk from a parking area across the road, and snowmobile trails cross the area. The Audubon Center also has a nice short loop. Newfound Lake is expansive, and we saw lots of kayaking prospects but weather was not favorable.2 years ago CAMP at Newfound Lake
- Gaelic&Garlic 10 Min to Wellington State Park and Beach on Newfound lake. Day trips from this location to Boston MA, Portsmouth NH, Burlington VT, Portland ME, Seacoast & Lake Beaches, White Mts NP., and Green Mts NP. Just under 4 hours to Montreal Canada. 3 Hrs to Cap Cod and 4.5 Hours to Acadia National Park. Ocean and Lake fishing with lots of public launch sites. If your looking for a 100+ RV sites to pick from or a water park onsite & Golf carts traffic jams then this is not the place for you. Stargazing, shooting stars, and the Milky way "YES" UFO's ...
