Tip for Other Campers:
The office/store has all the last minute items you will need. They also have apparel there. Joe Jimmys is open most nights so you can go have some drinks and dance. Also you have to go to the dining room to have a good meal.

Tip for Other Campers:
The access to the Frio River is a real plus for this campground. It was a bit too cold for us to venture in, but in the summertime this is not to be missed.

The Rio Frio is very close and is suitable for tubbing. However, the nearest grocery store is in Uvalde, 25 miles away. You can get necessities, at a premium, from the Camp store. Laundry is from $6 to $7 a load, quoting the store clerk, she wasn't sure. The park is relatively new ( here for the eclipse in 2024) but the stone fire rings are cracked and...
