“Nice park close to e erything”

We stayed here 3 weeks,if you get a site in the front they are very nice. The sites in the back are seasonal and really old looking. People were nice in office,id recommend this park. We camped at...

We stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter, and it was OK. The bathrooms needed repair, but were clean. There are alot of full time residents but the grounds are kept clean and there are no...

“Solid, well run park”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
A nice, quiet, mixed use RV park. Campers here run the gamut from permanent manufactured homes to every size and type of motorhome and trailer. Their office is run very well and it's easy to get mail,...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you need a lower rate, ask if you can stay in the monthly area of the park. For our 3 week stay we paid the one month rate, 1/3 less than we would have paid weekly for the somewhat nicer area near the front of the park.
“Typical urban campground with tight sites. Many long term residents”
Nightly Rate: $46 USD
Two week stay in Site 19 (pull through). All utilities worked fine. This site is close to dumpster, laundry and pool. Most sites will have no shade if you are here in warm weather. Campground is dated...

Tip for Other Campers:
Visited the USS Lexington, Aquarium, Art Museum, Padre Island National Park, and Port Aransas all worthwhile (note that the Aquarium is quite expensive). Ate lunch at Harrisons Landing and Landrys in downtown Corpus both good.

“Great location that is convenient to Padre Island, Corpus, shopping, birding sites and Port Aransas.”
Nightly Rate: $58 USD
Our site was on the newer pull-through section with easy in and out, concrete pads, and a bit further away from Waldron Road. Older sections can be tight for maneuvering. Sites are a little close but...

Tip for Other Campers:
HEB down the street, Walmart a few miles away, restaurants all over (we like Scuttlebutt's, Snoopy's and Doc's for seafood and they are near the bridge to the Island). The new KOA is close to the water, but it's considerably more expensive.
