“Lots of Room and Some Water”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Park is reasonably priced for the neighborhood. Close to High Island and Bolivar Beach. We camped at Bolivar Peninsula RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Tip for Other Campers:
Stinaree Resturant for dinning - Big Store for all your other needs.

Tip for Other Campers:
We ate at Tia Juanita's Fish Camp two nights in a row. Both night we had good food and service. The gal running the kite shop was wonderful. Lots of fun kites for every budget.
Tips from campers about Bolivar Peninsula RV Park
- Ryan Frerichs Convenient to Freeport and around 20 minutes to Portland. Tuscan Brick Oven Bistro in Freeport is excellent for dinner, as was Aki sushi. Loved Portland, especially the Old Port area. This park is level and quiet. Grassy area in the campground. Large dog park that hasnt been kept clean by the residents or staff. Also not located anywhere near the majority of the camp sites. Office...

Tip for Other Campers:
Fort Travis is a great place to visit. Ferry to Galveston is free. The Big Store is the only grocery shopping in Bolivar. Galveston has Kroger and Walmart. Tia Juanita and Stingerees were enjoyable restaurants.

Stock up on food before you go. Like a typical beach town, there are a few stores with groceries but the prices are high.
