We visited the National Historic Site, walked through Hotel Limpia in town and had lunch at the Fort Davis Drug Store. The malt and sundae was great!

The WiFi is the best service we've found, second to none. No amenities to speak of but we park, connect, and only use the park as a base. Great cable, more than we needed. Great shade for each site,...

Don't miss Fort Davis, the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center, the scenic loop drive, the Macdonald Observatory, or the Overland Museum. Many historical markers too. Easy drive to Alpine or Marfa. Funky little grocery store nearby.

Tip for Other Campers:
See the Fort and learn about the Buffalo Soldiers! State park offers easy hiking trails that are in awesome shape. If you stay at FTM Inn, eat next door at Poco's. Green enchiladas were pretty good and the burgers were awesome. Downtown Soda Shop has great food too.
