Tip for Other Campers:
Potter grocery store for those food needs, small but well stocked. Must sees include the nearby McDonald Observatory (star party most nights, tickets required) and the Fort Davis National Historical Site. A little farther drive is Balmorhea State Park.

It's a small town. We had everything so didnt shop. The site had a great view. Dog friendly terrain and walking path.
