Tips from campers about Gallagher Acres RV Park
- Melanie D *Orr has a small grocery/laundromat/gas combo. Prices at grocery seemed very high but it had all the basics, laundry was priced like most weve used. *Got excellent cinnamon and caramel rolls from bakery/restaurant (T. Patton) right near the grocery store. Restaurant serves B-L-D (Cash only) *Vermilion Gorge Trail was a 3 miles round trip hike with some up/downs but medium difficulty, is just past the NP visitors bldg, and the view from the cascades/gorge was outstanding! Well-shaded, plenty of steps on the steep sections. Online directions will get you there but you wont believe that you are in the right spot! When we were there (again, at seasons end), most of the tour boats were up on blocks, filling the gorge trail parking lot and completely blocking the trail sign!7 months ago Headquarters RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Benbrook, TX is about 5 miles away from the park and has lots of shopping and eating places available. Don't miss Pisano's Italian restaurant - excellent pasta! Gilligan's Pizza is just about a mile down the road and has great pizza.
