“Ocean views!!!”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Beautiful location. Ocean views!! Fantastic and large sites. One of the best places we have ever stayed. We camped at Galveston Island State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
So much to see locally with great restaurants. Need a vehicle though.

Nice clean campground feels like a private camp and less like most state parks. It's April 1 today and already hot and sticky. Nice flat sites just off a nice (huge) beach. Bike's are a good choice....

Tip for Other Campers:
Galveston was pretty empty on a Tuesday and many places were closed. Some are open only Thu-Sun. Walmart is a short drive for supplies as needed.

“Beautiful”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Very small campground on the bayside, but so pretty overlooking the bay. Very quiet and clean facilities. We camped at Galveston Island State Park in a Motorhome.

Be sure to check out the Galveston County Museum, so much history in this one little place.

Tip for Other Campers:
Bayside is across a huge highway and entrance is not off 13th street, it's just down a little further. Go to the main gate to check yourself in first before heading to the bayside.
