“Beautiful”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Very small campground, but so pretty overlooking the bay. Very quiet and clean facilities. We camped at Galveston Island State Park in a Motorhome.

- rvlife_689 Get a cinnamon roll and sourdough bread from Ashland baking company. Check out the ore docks next to the campground. You can walk or bike there. Had a great apple pie from Erickson orchards up in Bayfield. Go to the co-op and super one foods for groceries.6 months ago Kreher Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Bayside is across a huge highway and entrance is not off 13th street, it's just down a little further. Go to the main gate to check yourself in first before heading to the bayside.

Tip for Other Campers:
It is a little bit of a drive to into Galveston. Traffic is very slow close to the seawall. The Strand is a great place to shop, drink and eat. There are several local places like to dine like Cajun Greek, a wonderful local restaurant with fresh seafood and outstanding service.
