Staff at the gate made me feel welcome. Lost power a couple times probably due to the storm we had while here. Speed limits are not followed by the golf carts but nice neighbors. Very quiet at night...

We stayed here by chance last year. Absolutely love this location staff are friendly and helpful. Peaceful with a private beach for campers. We camped at Lake Hawkins RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is an Italian restaurant nearby -(BYOB) Hawkins has a very good bar the Ref Rooster in Hawkins good food and reasonable.
