“Great People”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Small intimate campground that is well cared for by the couple who own it. Nice people, very accomodating. We camped at The Byrd's Nest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rv camping at a Great Lake where you can fish, and explore right from the campsite. Park:Great park right on the water. Some mess around the park but facilities all worked and were great to use....

Tip for Other Campers:
You are 1hr from Fort Johnson LA. The dollar general down the street has basic groceries. There is a small grocery store with larger selection about 10 min drive across the bridge in LA. Walmart is about 30 min drive.
Lots of great areas to explore and play in the area.

Nice fish camp setup on Toledo Bend. Owners are friendly and helpful. We camped at The Byrd's Nest RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were about 75 minutes from Lufkin. There is a big-rig friendly convenience store with diesel a couple of miles away.
