“Nice large sites with lots of trees. ”

The local grocery store, Lowe's Market is very nice. Has close to everything you might want. The Amazon locker is right inside the store.

The camping fee reflects the Texas state parks pass discount. The on-site store is run by a private company despite being manned by rangers and no discount is offered on merchandise.
Tips from campers about Fort Richardson State Historical Park
- brownfarms Lots of flea markets close and stores all within 3 miles. Going to Mexico is about 7 miles.2 months ago Encore Paradise South
- edmyers5 Only about 10 miles to Progresso Mexico where most go to shop and they have a couple good places to eat. Everyone feels safe and we have not heard of any problems. Always bargain the price. They have dances about once a week, but with so many parks in the area (25 miles) you can always find a pretty good one. We are the just staying one night. The park is very well kept and not crowded at all but we stayed on a Wednesday night. We stayed in site #4 with full hookups. We had plenty of room for our 36 ft....

Can you take small camper to north park? Website says no trailer tent only but I was told by a friend, the park would allow small campers. Just wanted to now if anyone has stayed on north side on lake?...
