Tip for Other Campers:
Crockett is about 20 miles away and has a small Walmart, HEB grocery store and lots of places to eat. Bring water with you in case you don't have water at your site nor 150 of hose to connect to a neighbors water spigot.

Tip for Other Campers:
Watch out for ticks during tick season - had to dig one out of one of my dogs and one out of me.
Some of the bridges on the trails were in poor shape, but that's to be expected with all of the rain this year.

- jclifton Canada is not far. Colville is a cute area and has larger stores, such as Safeway (with gas and diesel) and a Walmart for stocking up. 49 North ski area is close. Kettle Falls is a darling little town. Waitts Lake. Loon Lake. Just an extremely lovely area. Tip: Gas and diesel can be priced atrociously high in this rural area. “Peace and quiet ”

Beautiful campground. Sites are far between each other, most are long with plenty of room for whatever you want to bring. Very pleasant and quiet, a few kids around but still very relaxing atmosphere....
