“Perfect Location and Price!”

If you stay here, do the Drive up ''Take out'' BBQ from HERMS BBQ 3 blocks from Palmdale RV on the left [headed east] Gotta go to Dirty Al's for these huge tasty shrimp!! Dolphin tour is very worth it! Turtle rehab is too!

Grass site fairly level water electric to the rear so don't pull too far ahead no trees but room on both sides We camped at Palmdale RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
There is a mix of pull through and back in sites. Some with concrete pads and others without. The clubhouse is a hub of activity and is open 24/7. Pool and hot tube too.
Great place. Everyone very friendly. You will need extra water hose and sewer line to hookup. We camped at Palmdale RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
South Padre Island has beautiful beaches that are dog-friendly. Resaca de la Palma offers bird watching and hiking trails. Palo Alto Battlefield National Historic Park is interesting. The Border Patrol Station offers tours. Laguna Acosta Wildlife Refuge has great bird watching, lots of hiking, biking trails and a tram tour.
