We thoroughly enjoyed the Ranch and Heritage Museum at TTU. The Windmill Museum is an absolute go-to. Unbelievable facility.
Shopping and restaurants are everywhere.
“Good for Overnite”
Nightly Rate: $38 USD
It was a muddy mess when we arrived after a downpour and was dry the next day. Nice lounge and welcoming staff and members. We camped at Lubbock Elks Lodge #1348 in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Dont use air across the street at the gas station. Charges your credit card but errors out. Attendant has no control over it.

“Lots of room”
Nightly Rate: $26 USD
Gravel sites were spacious and level. Trees were positioned not to interfere with slides, satellites etc. Grassy areas for dog walking. Lodge was very nice and folks friendly. Power was excellent....

Silent Wings Museum is a must go to. Lots to learn about the gliders and the part they played in WWII. Vets are free. Other entry is very reasonable. The American Windmill Museum has the largest collection of windmills and probably the biggest one also. But there is also a large collection of miniature showcased rooms.
