Tip for Other Campers:
Very close to Temple, of course. About 40 minutes from Fort Hood.
There are no playgrounds or trails to walk on. But plenty of good spots for bank fishing, and a nice boat ramp with a courtesy dock. And bathrooms beside the boat trailer parking lot.

Spacious sites with water and electric. Dump site available. Close to lake and plenty of birds to observe. A very good value. We camped at White Flint Park in a Travel Trailer.
