Tip for Other Campers:
Close to Willis and Conroe for groceries and restaurants. Dont follow Google directions they take you to the wrong place. No need to pay daily rate for the park when camping, its included..

Nice lakefront park. Camp hosts were very nice. The campground was spotless and the pads level. We were in site 25. We like the 2nd loop as it has the sites near the lake. Very nice walking paths....

Tip for Other Campers:
Gas and diesel available nearby in New Waverly. Other amenities are close as well, north to Huntsville, or south to Willis/Conroe. Our family enjoys sunset views from the pier.

“Beautiful Campground”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
This has to be one of the most beautiful campgrounds in Texas. The bathrooms were nothing to write home about but the grounds were beautiful. We camped at Cagle Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.
