Delia's (for tamales) is fairly close, and there are a couple of Laredo Tacos in the area. Plenty of grocery stores and gas stations - all in all, very convenient. There's a propane dealer next door, though we didn't need it this time....

Tip for Other Campers:
Bentsen State Park just 2 miles away, great birding area. Also a butterfly sanctuary/park 1/2mi east of BSP. Easy and recommended crossover to Mexico at Nuevo Progresso. Use the handy parking lot and walk over. Check with your insurance company before driving across....

- RVL499040 Rail trail for biking. Chatham for shops and restaurants.
- CGaboury Make sure you bring your bikes and ride down to the rail trail and the Cape Cod Baseball league. If you're exploring the cape, get yourself to Main Street in Hyannis and get some Smith Family Popcorn. It's so good!

There is a bird refuge on site and it's only 2 miles to Bentsen Rio Grande State Park. Location is handy to Mission, Palmview, and Mcallen shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
