We made trips to Nuevo Progresso, to the butterfly and birding reserves and to downtown McAllen for shopping and restaurants. We liked Birdies and fabric stores.

We needed some repairs and there were cat and freightliner shops right around the corner as well tire and inspection stations. We had a mobile shop bring out new tires and install them at the park.
