“Pretty views of the lake. ”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Campground was quiet and our spot (44) was flat. Easy back-in. Asphalt pad, nice picnic table and shelter, all concrete. Park is struggling with staffing and doing the best they can with just...

“Disappointing”
Nightly Rate: $18 USD
COE parks offer great value, especially if one is over 62. Lake is pretty and some nice sites, we have been here before. Sadly number 9 is not one of them. Selected number 9, a pull thru as we were...

Tips from campers about Oak Park
- Dave Nash We had our ebikes so we explored all over Sandpoint going as far west as Dover and grabbed cocktails as the sun was setting at the Dish at Dover Bay. We also rode south of Sandpoint across the Lone Bridge, highway 95, to the town of Sagle, and we rode north to the town of Ponderay via the bike path which was enjoyable. We had great drinks and food at the Hydra Steakhouse (dog friendly). We also were in town for the Sandpoint Music Festival which was at Lakeside Park. They allowed you to bring chairs, alcohol and food into the venue which we've never heard of which was awesome if you're on a tight budget. The park is small so seeing live music there had no bad "seats". We also did a drive west to Priest River and had lunch at the Settlement which had good microbrews.7 months ago Bonner County Fairgrounds Campground
- Macnhack This is a train town. If you dont like train noise dont spend the night in Sandpoint. The tracks crisscross all over town.7 months ago Bonner County Fairgrounds Campground
- ThePewterPalace Be sure to visit the Sandpoint Farmer Market in season. Not a good campground for big rigs, MHs due to too many low trees and trees close to road edge.7 months ago Springy Point

“Pleasant 4-day camping for eclipse and exploring the area.”
Nightly Rate: $12 USD
As others have said, it's a beautiful setting. Fairly basic, clean, well-spaced sites, many are sloped/slanted, pavement in sites kind of narrow and crumbled on the edges. Springtime weather,...

Tip for Other Campers:
We explored the back roads: One day, making a loop drive up to the town of Corsicana (to Walmart for supplies) and returning on a different back road route. This was a great way to enjoy the beauty and variety of the area - "back" roads are mostly paved county and "Farm to Market" roads. These roads are easily navigated using Google maps.A second day of...

We loved our stay in site 48. It's somewhat out of the way and is the only site on the lakeside in that particular loop. The views were fantastic and we were surrounded by grass and trees. We enjoyed...

“Pretty with lots of shade trees”
Nightly Rate: $14 USD
We only stayed one night and everything was great except the bathroom was old and needed updating. We camped at Oak Park in a Travel Trailer.
