Tips from campers about Heritage Trails RV Park
- Gabriela I recommend going to Arrowhead to rent some canoes and take it down the river!8 years ago Silver Sands Tent and Trailer Park
- KieraH The camping spots have shared hookups between the neighbouring sites, so, if you're driving something too big to turn around, you're going to want to make sure your hookups are on the correct side. Our little popup trailer, it wasn't a problem. The river that goes by the campground is a lazy river with a slight current, great views and easily navigable. If you have a Canoe or Kayak (or even have a inflatable) get someone to drop you with it at the Williamsport Rd. bridge, and drift or paddle for 3-6 hours back to the campground, or start at the campground and go down to Lake Vernon. We paddled upstream in kayaks from the camp, around 3km (6km round trip), and it's a bit of a workout pushing against the current, but totally doable for most any level paddlers.
