Quiet little park with level sites. Looks like they are doubling the number of spots. Manager is very accommodating and everyone was friendly. Pretty rough and narrow gravel road from the highway in,...

Tip for Other Campers:

Rockport has several good restaurants and a neat little downtown. There is the biggest ACE hardware I've ever seen and worth the time to visit.

Tips from campers about Estes RV Resort

  • Dave Nash We had our ebikes so we explored all over Sandpoint going as far west as Dover and grabbed cocktails as the sun was setting at the Dish at Dover Bay. We also rode south of Sandpoint across the Lone Bridge, highway 95, to the town of Sagle, and we rode north to the town of Ponderay via the bike path which was enjoyable. We had great drinks and food at the Hydra Steakhouse (dog friendly). We also were in town for the Sandpoint Music Festival which was at Lakeside Park. They allowed you to bring chairs, alcohol and food into the venue which we've never heard of which was awesome if you're on a tight budget. The park is small so seeing live music there had no bad "seats". We also did a drive west to Priest River and had lunch at the Settlement which had good microbrews.
  • Macnhack This is a train town. If you dont like train noise dont spend the night in Sandpoint. The tracks crisscross all over town.
  • ThePewterPalace Be sure to visit the Sandpoint Farmer Market in season. Not a good campground for big rigs, MHs due to too many low trees and trees close to road edge.

A small RV park. There was a 3-night minimum when I booked a reservation. I was put in a spot normally occupied by someone else who was traveling. It rained one day I was there and a small lake formed...

I have been to many resorts and parks but this one is the nicest one by far with it's beautiful campgrounds and the fact that we could park in a slot that had trees to shade us while we sat outside...
