“Sites suitable for everyone”
Nightly Rate: $25 USD
Park like setting on the lake where many service families gather. Watercraft rentals, pool, laundry. We camped at Goodfellow AFB Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
AFB about 5 miles, all major box stores in San Angelo a few miles, Walmart Market close by. Nice area to walk the pups.
Fort Concho is a must.

- BernitaG Burro TC was an excellent restaurant. TB Golf course next door was great. Mari Vineyards was beautiful. One piece of advice... do not wear anything with a political message to the pb courts or someone may yell at you. Sites are mostly level concrete pads, electrical hookup solid, water hookup had broken handle, so pliers are helpful. Water hookups are in ground, not on posts.Cleanliness rating is mid level...

Try Hidalgos on corner of Bryant and Knickerbocker.
Cork and Pig Tavern is always a good choice.

“Nice Park; Good Location”

The park is pretty and quietshade and sun spots, lake. The sites are very spacious and we have a 42 fifth wheel and long bed truck-didnt have to unhook. The laundry and restroom facilities are good....

Close to the main part of San Angelo, which is a nice town with plenty of amenitiesrestaurants, shopping.
