MilwJeff Firewood is available outside the park. Propane tanks can be refilled in several locations. The town of Prairie du Chien is a 15-minute drive away - most civilization amenities are available there. Restaurant-wise, we enjoyed coffee and sandwiches at Simply Cafe. Both sides of the Mississippi (Iowa and Wisconsin) afford scenic drives through several small towns.
