- Kona Boy Tips: (1) Before booking, verify the site you select has 50-amp service or just 30-amp service. (2) On weekends expect the campground will be packed with local anglers, so book well in advance. (3) If you are a history buff, find time to visit both Arkansas Post Visitor Centers; one is a Arkansas State Park site, the other is a National Parks site. Grocery: Piggly Wiggly Food: Sonic,Subway, Kellys on the Square (sports bar), Dragon Garden (Chinese), 420&Turnrow (coffee shop), Ameca Mexican, Troys Drive-Thru, Catfish Shack Food truck, Moshi Moshi Food truck. Pharmacy: Tommys Rexall Drug Gas Stations: Conoco, Exxon, AZMart Convenient: Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree (coming soon) Stuttgart 1hr.. Car dealership: Petrus - Ford, Jeep, Dodge, Chevrolet. Dumas 45min south.. Grocery, restaurants2 years ago Merrisach Lake
- kott Pretty far away from most things, at least 30-60 min. Visited Arkansas Post National Memorial. Great exhibits and history. Lots of locals fishing in the river around the visitor center. Very nice picnic area with restrooms close to the visitor center. Best bet for groceries is Dumas about an hour away. They have a PigglyWiggly, Food Giant and the Mad Butcher grocery stores.3 years ago Merrisach Lake
