Clean up some of the foliage and dead trees at the camp sites themselves. New furniture in the movie room.

Brookshire as, Ace Hardware and another local lumber store along with a few other stores just 5 min from the park. Cleburne is the next largest town about 37 min away

As other reviews have mentioned the biggest downside are the potholes and untrimmed trees. Staff was friendly and warned us of the potholes. There is NO avoiding them. Plenty of trees between sites....

An hour from Magnolia in Waco so great if you want park like camping and some in-town activities. Make a reservation at Magnolia Table! Walk-ins waited nearly 2 hours.
