GET WATER BEFORE ENTERING THE PARK. Water points are very limited in Moab. We found a Marathon gas station on the far side of town which graciously allowed us to fill our tanks, however everyone awaiting the one garden hose can really create a backup. Tip for Other Campers:
Please see above about no water or dump stations in park. Moab is about 45 min away with great restaurants, laundry, grocery, and a few dump & water fill stations.
Tips from campers about Arches National Park - Devils Garden Campground
- Nancy E The campground is about 18 miles back in the park. Bring plenty of water & plan meals accordingly.
- Victorinox-23 The park is remote and has a 17 mile drive to the farthest point, up massive hill climbs and steep downhills. Do not underestimate the driving skills and physical abilities required.
- Tiger Doan Make sure your site can accommodate slideout because I had to angle my motor home to use my slide out in drivers side

Tip for Other Campers:
Arrive at the trailheads early (before 8 am) to get a parking spot. Both car and RV. There are about 8-10 oversize spots at the Delicate Arch trailhead.
