Tip for Other Campers:
Campground store is larger, and better stocked with key items, than we have seen at many other campgrounds.Stock up on groceries. There is a small market in Tropic where you can get the essentials, but selection is modest and prices are what you would expect for a small, somewhat isolated town.In the office they have two looseleaf binders,...

Tips from campers about Bryce Valley Ranch RV and Horse Park
- TheMcNeills_AZ There are several things to do within an hour radius of the park. Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome parks are close, and there are a ton of activities (i.e. - hiking, horseback riding, scenic guided bus tours, self-driving tour), e-bike rides, ATV rides, picnics, fly fishing, etc. We didn't have enough time to do everything and want to go back next Summer!2 years ago Bryce Valley Ranch RV and Horse Park
- Bran Tarkleton The grocery store and hardware store in Tropic are well stocked and have most of the items you'll need... Ruby's in Bryce Canyon city has everything else you missed (including liquor!!!!)2 years ago Bryce Valley Ranch RV and Horse Park

“Huge RV sites close to Bryce Canyon National Park ”

We stayed here for 5 nights in our 41 ft 5th wheel and had lots of space for our truck to park. Basically a gravel park with a few small trees. Getting in and out was super easy, there was so much...

Tip for Other Campers:
FYI, there is a stretch of Utah 12 west of the cutoff for Bryce Canyon NP (the Red Canyon area) that has marked a 13'6" clearance warning for "Tunnels Ahead" which is for 2 separate rocky arches that span over Hwy 12. We are 13'5" and slowed WAY down, and on approach the clearance appeared to be greater than 13'6" - at least I did not see my air...
