I had reserved 4 nights at this campsite. Garmin originally sent me to a dirt road that was gated shut. We then went to route 14, which both Garmin and the road signs said "Not for tractor trailers...

Tip for Other Campers:

Don't go there unless your rig is small enough to navigate the turns and fit into the tight spaces. However, this is an ideally located park with easy access to Zion, Bryce, and Cedar Breaks. It would serve as a good base of operations (as was our alternative site) to visit all three.

We stayed at site 11 (very level, not much shade) which was one of the few sites available that you don’t have to reserve. We got there right at check in (2:00) and got the last spot. The reservation...

  • User4389 June/July/August is a great time of year to visit the area (I've seen the season for this campsite as starting in June and May so I can't say for certain when things kick off). The weather is temperate). Navajo Lake seems very shallow and is a great choice for small sailing boats, canoeing, fishing. This review is being written during July 2020 (during Covid). Utah is NOT practicing safe distancing, nor masks in public.
  • camper-_1 This is not really a place to go out to eat or shop. It's a place to relax in nature. The nearest shopping is in The Village of Duck Creek, an ATV rental mecca. Reserve a site in advance if possible. There are 15 first come first serve sites, so get there at 2:00 check in time because they go fast. A road goes right by the campground and you can hear vehicles if your site is close to the road, but the aspens and spruces make up for it. Bring a bike to ride on the Navaho Lake Trail that has a direct connection from the lower looop of the campground. Drivr to the Cascade trailhead and take a spectaculer half mile each way hike where you can see panoramic views and an amazing waterfall.
