“Close to the Needles Dist of Canyonland NP”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
We were in the area to visit family that works at Canyonland NP. We stayed for a week. You can't beat the cost or the views. Just be aware there is no water, showers, power or WiFi and very very...

“Great place to boondock. ”

Drive past the main campground and there are plenty of sites closer to the river. Very few people when we were there. There is no water or electricity but they have a pit toilet up the road. The water...

Tips from campers about Hamburger Rock Campground
- CoyleTravels Such a great location with the nice town of Silverton being a short drive away. We really enjoyed Silverton's little downtown and their farmer's market. We were close to Salem as well and made a trip over there to hit Costco and the huge farmer's market close to the capital. And let's not forget Silver Falls State Park. Anyone who enjoys waterfalls needs to have this park on their list.1 year ago Silver Spur RV Park
- Mkmickel Must go up to Silver Falls State Park and see the wonderful waterfalls. Great hiking trails everywhere up there. We also highly recommend Fireside Lounge, wonderful food and environment.5 months ago Silver Spur RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
The Needles section of Canyonlands is just a few miles up the road. There is quite a lot to see there. The BLM and Bears Ears NM have a great deal to see also. Make sure to stop at Newspaper Rock for a short visit. The petroglyphs here must be seen.
Make sure to fill water tanks in Moab or Monticello before coming to Hamburger Rock.
Nightly Rate: $1 USD
Great BLM site. There is a charge to camp at the hamburger, but there are sites all along the road that are free. Tons of space to boondocks. We camped at Hamburger Rock Campground in a Truck Camper.
