Just outside Zion entrance Road, which is 19 miles. Its on a quiet side of the park if you like crowds and shopping go to the south entrance. FYI the top half of the park is shuttle only.

Some small places to get groceries but would plan to eat in when here. Kanab is the closest town with more services.

- KK And Pa Take Bowerman road off Hwy 517 to get to park. Don't come in on 146 like maps suggests.1 year ago Galveston Bay RV Resort & Marina
- Steve & Linda Houston Well the roads leading to the RV park was missing street sign off fm517 (Bowermen). The road construction was terrible every where in and around the general area. But close to Galveston Isand and Houston. Approx 30 min. Amazing Beaches, enjoyed some Mardi Gra festive parade and the Rodeo in Houston
- Roamalee Youre very close to Texas City, which is an OK area but with plenty of stores and restaurants and that sort of thing lots of chain restaurants. If you go further north, you have a better variety and more sort of upscale look I think.1 year ago Galveston Bay RV Resort & Marina

Tip for Other Campers:
Kanab is only 16 miles down the road if you like to at out or shop at. Mt Carmel junction is about a mile south of here and they have a 24 hr Shell station and they have ice too.
