Who would have thought this was hidden in plain sight. We've been coming to Moon Lake Campground for years and enjoy every moment. The forest service has made improvement over the years such as flush...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Moon Lake Resort is right next door to the Forest Service Campground. They have a little store with needed items such as milk, butter, eggs, ice... They have souvenirs, cabins to rent, showers. It makes for a very effective camping adventure.
This would be a whole different review if it weren't for the mice. Moon Lake is a beautiful area at the end of Moon Lake Road in the Uintah mountains of Utah. The reservoir is beautiful and easily...

- JeanneWil445 Lake Placid is close by, and is a great place to explore and experience a true piece of American sports history. The drive around the area is stunning, and there are many opportunites for hiking around Whiteface Mountain and the Ausable River. I would suggest that you save the time you might invest in going to Santa's Workshop. His elves have not been as busy as they should have been.
- Flikker We used this as a base camp and toured Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, Santa's Workshop and all the other places in the area. Go to Jay, NY, about 10 miles east, to see the covered bridge. Walk below to the rocks and water/rapids. Very relaxing. Lake Placid and the Olympic stuff. The North Pole and Santa, never too old to see that. Lots of hikes. A wonderful place in New York.
