“Decent park in a decent location”

Not a bad park. We had a pull through which was plenty long enough for our trailer and truck. Nice shade at our site. Plenty of grass areas for walking the dogs. Lots of road noise all day and night....

Tip for Other Campers:
Dinosaur national monument is neat, but underwhelming. We spent a few hours in the park and that was more than enough. Highly recommend doing some hikes at Flaming Gorge. The rim tail was beautiful with amazing views.

Tip for Other Campers:
Visiting Dinosaur National Monument is an absolute must. We golfed at Dinaland Golf Course and it was a hidden gem. Very well maintained. We had dinner at Vernal Brewing Company. The Shrimp and Grits were delicious. Vernal was definitely a happy spot for us.

Tip for Other Campers:
- Hiking Harpers Corner Trail at the end of the Colorado side entrance of Dinosaur National Park is amazing. Total must do.
The trail is 2.25 miles out and back, but so worth it. Some of the best views we have experienced hiking and we hike all over the country.
- Flaming Gorge
- Three Kings Panel Trail
