“Nice campground in Vermont!”
Nightly Rate: $65 USD
This is a nice campground located just north of Middlebury. While it does not have sewer, it has other features that may make up for it for most. Very nice sized sites are a key consideration. With...

“Not really for us”
Nightly Rate: $70 USD
The campground is located down a long gravel road with elevation. No sewer hookups are available, which we knew at the time of booking. You get one dump included in your fee, they charge $20 for each...

Tips from campers about Rivers Bend Campground
- Kcirce Bring your float tubes and kayak/canoe. If heading downstream, park a carry vehicle down to the exit in order to get back. Or, float from the train trestle to one of the 2 stairs off the bank of the campground. Be prepared for infrastructure failures.2 years ago Rivers Bend Campground

- TN Vogels If you have the chance, take a ferry across Lake Champlain. Even with a large RV! The town of Middlebury is close to the campground and beautiful with a lovely waterfall. If you love horses you will enjoy a visit to the Morgan Horse farm in the area. We enjoyed a trip to Shelburne Farm. It is a bit of a drive and there is a LOT of walking involved when you get there, but it is lovely! Look up covered bridges in the area. All are charming.3 years ago Rivers Bend Campground

Our campsite was PR7. We were on the river with a fabulous view. It was a sunny location. The campground was clean and the coin-operated showers lasted six minutes per quarter. The flowerbeds needed...

“Absolutely beautiful but”
Nightly Rate: $63 USD
First the cons: water and electric kept going out throughout our 5 night stay. Since this is all they offer - a bit disappointing. Bath house could use a serious upgrade. The lilac in the womens...

“River's Bend is my "go to" place when visiting Vermont.”
