Tip for Other Campers:
Appomattox Courthouse National Park is a half hour drive and is free. Kroger, Walmart, etc in Appomattox.

Tip for Other Campers:
Hr plus drive to anything. We went to Virginia safari park which was one of the nicest places to see. Had a great dinner meal at the pink Cadillac afterwards and headed back to park for some high time fishing

Wonderful state park with great hiking and biking. Red oak campground has large and many private sites. We camped at James River State Park in a Travel Trailer.
