Tip for Other Campers:
Coming from U.S. 60 on Barnes road you must be careful at the hairpin turn at creek so you don't drop a tire off edge.
Tips from campers about Colonial Pines Campground at Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center
- 19hokie81 Colonial Williamsburg and the Historic Triangle close by. We had a nice meal at the Virginia Grill located a couple miles away on the Stonehouse golf course. Would strongly suggest entry on Route 601 from the I-64 side of the campground, as the approach from Route 60 end of 601 had a couple of sharp turns.
- bigdog3162 Williamsburg Winery is nice, eat at Gabriel Archer's Tavern! Christina Campbell's Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg is also nice ($$$).
- NeverStopExploring It was nice to visit Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, and Yorktown from there.
