Small and quiet!!!! Friendly owners and delicious homemade pizza. Well definitely be back next year. We camped at Creeper Trail Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Check site listing carefully to be sure your site has septic if you need it. Diesel is hard to find - Railroad Market & Cafe in Whitetop has diesel and is close to the campground. Download your maps before traveling. Theres no cell service anywhere near the campground.
Tips from campers about Creeper Trail Campground
- MarkBeth Waynesville/St. Robert (Fort Leonard Wood) is an easy 20 minutes away for shopping. Nothing else is close except for gas. The main things to do are in the campsite and on the river.2 years ago Gasconade Hills RV Resort

Tip for Other Campers:
The driving advice on the Campground website is a must read as the Switchback roads are only for moderate to small RVs. We had no problem with our 20-foot Lance travel trailer. The extra effort to drive up to the top of white Top Mountain for this Campground was well worth the effort, including views of Mount Rogers, the tallest mountain in Virginia....
