“Are Washington parks back-sliding?”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Pretty much the way it was 15 years ago. Provided picnic tables should be replaced. Whereas I only recall weekender and vacationers years ago, there were a few folks living here. Some very loud,...

“Surprisingly busy, but quiet.”
Nightly Rate: $10 USD
Nice facilities with plenty of easy trails to walk and view nature. Solid power and water/sewer still available at end of November. Though all spots filled during Thanksgiving holiday plus dogs galore...

Tip for Other Campers:
A grocery store, gas and restaurants conveniently located about 3 miles away. Unfortunately, cell service is very slow for both ATT & T-Mobile.

“Water front on the Hood Canal”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Beautiful state park with full hook-ups sites available. We stayed in the beach loop which accommodates larger RVs and has lots of sunshine with shaded spaces too. The water front sites at the best,...

Tip for Other Campers:
The City of Belfair is 3 miles away and has everything youll need. Lots of great hiking and OHV areas very close by. Popular with locals on weekends.
“Nice spot to watch kite boarders.”
Found a spot next to beach for night. Unfortunately untended smokey campfire in adjacent campsite and direction of wind drove me out of an overnight stay. I hope to go back later in spring. Very nice...

Wind often blows from W or SW. Pick a spot closer to entry of park if you want full hookups. The smoke from your upwind neighbors fire may drive you out.

Tip for Other Campers:
Research when the salmon are running and watch them.Overall, camping spots are pretty close together, especially in the Tree Loop. If privacy is a concern, I would avoid the summer months. Some of the pull-through spots are still small, the State Park website should help you stay clear of those if you have a larger rig - 25 feet.The...
