Tips from campers about Bellingham, WA
- Alcin Hiking trail to Fragrant Lake is a must! Steep with lots of switchbacks and even more benches. Interurban trail passes through. Many cars at trail heads, but with so many trails, we did not see very many people. Stunning old growth forest. Stunning views of Samish Bay. I didn't want to leave! Very close to Bellingham with lots of choices for food, gas, other types of recreation.1 week ago Larrabee State Park
- twiggy01 Coming from the south was doable with our 25' Airstream, but we would not have wanted to do that during the summer season or in a trailer longer than what we have.3 months ago Larrabee State Park
- flaymingyon RVs should approach this park from the north to make your time on Hwy 11 as short as possible as the road is narrow and winding. Haggen's Grocery is easy to find by following Hwy 11 toward Fairhaven.9 months ago Larrabee State Park
