- Billy Ray Bananamobile Check your pad before backing in. Ours pitched down enough that our levelers reached their limit on the back. Not all sites are this way, as we saw alot that were very level. And, beware the raccoons! At night they run the place and if you are sitting out around the fire they will come right up to you. Each site has a tall lantern post that you can hang things on overnight, but you might want to walk down and dump your trash before retiring for the evening.1 year ago Purtis Creek State Park

This is a very popular fishing area and if you have an atv or utv, there are several hundred miles of trails to explore.
